HOW DO WE DO
IT?
Well, think of a huge ink jet printer. Our manufacturer Milliken
uses it's patented Millitron® computer-controlled dye-injection
technology to imprint stunning 400 dpi images (versus the
competition's 70 dpi) onto durable twisted nylon material against a
pliable rubber backing. The permanent heat set dyes resist fading
even after repeated laundering, keeping your images sharp and
bright for high-visibility areas. And they are tough enough even
for high-traffic areas.

The animation above represents the
Millitron® computer-controlled micro jets which inject dye with
surgical precision deep into the face of the carpet.
Injection dyeing brings color to the fiber
after it's finished carpet and a spectrum of intricate colors and
patterns burst to life as the carpet passes through. It's a unique
process that creates amazing results.
Don't confuse Millitron with
"overprinting". Screen or transfer printing adds color only to the
tips of the carpet fibers. Millitron® accuracy makes Milliken the our

Millitron®applies the patterns and logos with precise
registration and clarity. With 400 micro-jets per square inch,
Millitron® creates extremely intricate and detailed designs. Dye

colors on carpet, greatly expanding the color palette. A
